Outreach Coordinator

The BC Liberal Party is looking for passionate, driven, diverse organizers to join their growing team as they work to unveil their new brand – BC United – and prepare for the next election! As a key member of the team, you will be working with party members, supporters and stakeholders to build relationships and proactively bring issues forward within local communities and relevant interest groups. As an Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with local organizations, stakeholder groups, and potential candidates. You will also work closely with the leader’s tour team to plan events and represent the BC Liberal Party at events and meetings. The majority of your time will be spent engaging in outreach with BC Liberal members and riding association executives, along with supporters and stakeholders as our party works to build teams across the province in preparation for the next general election.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft office programs
• A valid Class 5 Drivers’ Licence, the ability to travel for work and a flexible schedule
• Campaign experience (local, provincial or federal)
• Community participation and volunteer work is an asset
• Strong social and organizational skills
• Excellent writing and communications skills, comfortable speaking in groups
