Alana DeLong

Nanaimo-North Cowichan Candidate

A former four-term Alberta MLA, Alana DeLong is the BC Liberal candidate for Nanaimo-North Cowichan in the 2017 provincial election.

DeLong served her constituents in Calgary-Bow during a fourteen-year period of unprecedented economic growth and stability. A constant voice for job growth and economic opportunity, DeLong chaired the Alberta delegation at the Pacific Northwest Economic Region, ultimately becoming the organization’s Vice-President.

Born in Nelson, and raised in the Okanagan and Victoria, DeLong now lives on Thetis Island in the southern Gulf Islands.

“North Cowichan is a unique and diverse region that offers great ideas and perspectives on what our province is, and where it is going. I have always believed that a constituency office should be the central hub of a riding where all constituents come to express needs and ideas. I am running to ensure that the voices of this region are heard in Victoria.” – Alana DeLong
