NDP Show True Feelings About Tax Cuts
The NDP are showing their true colors: they simply don’t support the tax cuts the BC Liberals passed in November, lowering income and business taxes for all British Columbians.
- Sue Hammell’s MLA website features a letter to her constituents (http://suehammell.ca/) that calls the personal and business income tax cuts passed in November “out of touch”.
- She goes on to say that the tax cuts “will do little for ordinary British Columbians”.
- The NDP have voted against over 100 tax cuts introduced by the BC Liberal government since 2001. Thanks to those cuts, B.C. now has the lowest income taxes in Canada for everyone making up to $111,000.
