1. The NDP plan will eliminate at least 110,000 jobs.   Independent experts have confirmed the NDP’s wage policies will cost 50,000 jobs and their climate plan will cost 60,000 jobs - mostly in resource-based communities.
   
   
2. The NDP will hike liquor prices.   The NDP’s proposed tax increases will raise the price of liquor by 25 per cent. That’s an extra $3 for a six-pack of beer according to the Alliance of Beverage Licensees.
   
   
3. The NDP will risk 2,000 forest jobs in rural B.C. The NDP’s tax on log exports would hand thousands of British Columbians their pink slips. 
   
   
4. The NDP are soft on crime.  The NDP have voted against resources for 1,100 police officers as well as dedicated officers and prosecutors to fight gang crime.  They also oppose changes to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act which would result in mandatory jail time for producing and selling illegal drugs to keep gangsters off our streets.
   
   
5. Every major employer says the NDP are bad for business. Not a single major employer or association in small business, forestry, mining, energy, retail or tourism have endorsed the NDP because they are afraid of what NDP policies would do to the economy, their business and their employees.
   
   
6. The NDP don’t understand their own platform. The NDP released a platform calling for a $412-million tax on flaring.   Just weeks later they had to admit they weren’t clear exactly who or what they were taxing.
   
   
7. The NDP oppose clean, green energy and the jobs they create.   The NDP’s ideological attack on clean energy projects will put an estimated 1,100 rural workers out of work and result in more imported dirty electricity from outside B.C.
   
   
8. The NDP will threaten thousands of forest jobs by cancelling the Softwood Lumber Agreement. That would claw back $2.4 billion from our forest industry, cost $200 million in government revenues per year, and would re-impose a 30 to 40 per cent export tax on lumber exports, eliminating certainty for the industry and destroying jobs in communities across BC. The forest industry says this is a bad idea.
   
   
9. The NDP are against the new Port Mann Bridge.   Carole James said “wrong bridge, wrong plan.” 
   
   
10. The NDP have voted against funding for critical health care projects. Projects they have opposed include the new Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, the new Surrey Outpatient Hospital and expansions and new hospital projects in Vernon, Kelowna and Fort St. John.
