Facey brings a unique skill set to help address concerns brought forward by those from the North Island.

Facey loved growing up on the North Island – an experience which impressed upon him the importance of keeping the North Island a place that young people seek out to raise their families. His Grandfather, Bud Facey, first visited the North Island in the mid 1930’s as a logger, and Nick’s own father worked in the resource industries in the area for more than 30 years.

Moving forward, Facey wants to focus his efforts on supporting economic growth, making use of the region’s many resources, and finding ways to make life more affordable for families.
