- Largest single increase in B.C. history in monthly income assistance rates for persons with disabilities – B.C. now has the second-highest assistance rate in Canada
- New Amber Alert system to help solve child abductions New ISPOT policing team to better monitor known sexual predators
- Eliminated provincial income taxes for all British Columbians earning under $15,500 per year – helping 330,000 people Reduced provincial income taxes for families earning under $20,000 by 44% compared with 2001
- Lowest provincial income taxes in Canada for all lower and middle income levels
