Welcome to the Powell River Sunshine Coast Riding Association Website
The Riding is located a short, 40-minute ferry-ride from Vancouver and encompasses the area from Port Mellon to Powell River. The temperate weather and the miles of beaches make it both a popular vacation destination and a highly desirable area for year-round living. There are approximately 30,000 people in the riding.

The Association works between elections to build membership in the BC Liberal Party and to develop the infrastructure necessary to succeed in the next election.
Members have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ways by:
- Attending the Delegate Selection Meetings to choose delegates to go to the biennial convention
- Participating in barbecues, receptions, and other special events
- Joining one or more committees such as Membership, Communication, etc.
- Organizing events for the members and others
- Joining the Women’s Commission
