Open Platform

Welcome to the BC Liberal Open Platform

What is your vision for building a better future for B.C.'s families and communities? What are your ideas for strengthening our economy in every sector and every region, to create jobs and opportunities for our children and families? What would you like to see included in the BC Liberal's election platform to improve health care, education, housing, public safety, and other vital public services? What are your priorities to create a cleaner environment, a better quality of life, lower taxes, and ensure that we continue to improve services while also living within our means?

This is a chance to have your say and help shape the policies that Premier Campbell and your BC Liberal Team will put to the people as part of their election platform on May 12, 2009.

Join the open platform today and see how you can share your thoughts and help make an important difference for our province. You can participate in surveys, web panels, social networks, digital "town hall meetings" and policy forums on all sorts of topics. You can also submit videos, photos, art and music that will showcase the beauty, strength and diversity of our province and its people and cultures. Many of those submissions will be selected for use on this website and profiled in various ways throughout the upcoming provincial election campaign.

To our knowledge, this is the first "open platform" process ever launched by a political party in Canada. It's open to everyone upon registration, whether or not you are a member of the BC Liberal Party.  Join the Open Platform today.
