Westside-Kelowna byelection, July 10, 2013
WESTSIDE-KELOWNA—The resignation of BC Liberal MLA Ben Stewart on June 11, 2013, cleared the way for a byelection on July 10, 2013—and the candidacy there of Premier Christy Clark.
The premier formally kicked off her campaign in the Westside-Kelowna riding on June 13, promising: “I’m going to work as hard as I can to earn every single vote. I’m planning to spend as much time as possible with Westside-Kelowna residents.
“I’m looking forward to discussing how we can grow the economy, keep it strong for families, and build the best future possible for people who live in the Okanagan and across BC.”
