We have built over 11,300 new and replacement seniors care beds since 2001.

Average wait times for residential care have dropped from a year to less than 90 days.

Most B.C. seniors now pay one of the lowest residential care rates in all of Canada.

We expanded rent subsidies for seniors so more than 15,500 seniors get a monthly payment to help with the rent.

We increased home support care hours by nearly 25 per cent.

 

The NDP Record

The NDP government chronically underfunded seniors care.

The NDP government created just 1,461 new seniors care beds in 10 years.

The NDP government cut funding for home care and home support.
