BC Liberals Hold 16% Lead Over NDP, Premier Campbell's Popularity at 5-year High

A new poll conducted by Ipsos Reid Public Affairs (taken June 7th to 11th, 2006) shows that "the BC Liberals have opened up a sizeable lead over the NDP".

Premier Campbell's Approval Rating at Highest Level in Five Years

The approval rating of the performance of Premier Campbell is at its highest level since 2001 (52%), an 8% increase from March.

Carole James Approval Rating Plummets 16% Over Last Year

The approval rating of NDP Leader Carole James continues to slip.  Her approval rating is down 16% from 12 months ago.

Three-Quarters of BC Liberal Supporters Find Premier Campbell's Leadership Important for Their Vote

76% of BC Liberal supporters say that the leadership of Gordon Campbell is "very important" (27%) or "somewhat important" (50%) in their preference for the BC Liberals.

The poll was conducted with a representative cross-section of 800 BC adults, 18 years of age and over.  The margin of error is ±3.5% at the 95% confidence level.
