I am excited about our future in British Columbia because with our province leading the way on important issues like the economy and the environment, we can all be proud to call BC home. With the lowest levels of unemployment in our history, the opportunities to succeed are endless. The choices and opportunities that we have today have never existed before in our province’s history.

That is why I'm excited to join Premier Gordon Campbell’s team seeking election with the BC Liberal Party in the riding of Victoria – Beacon Hill. I feel incredibly fortunate to have lived, worked and earned my degree in such an incredible city.

Kelowna may have been where I grew up as a child, but Victoria is where I grew into the young adult that I am today.

Now, it is my turn to give back. This city and this province have been very good to me, and this is my time.

As Leader of the NDP, the current MLA for Victoria – Beacon Hill is more focused on divisive and negative politics than getting results for our community. Victoria – Beacon Hill deserves a representative that puts the community’s interest first and works hard to bring people together to share in the prosperity of our province. As a young person, I will engage people to get them excited about our future, and put Victoria – Beacon Hill before politics.

This campaign is about our future. Let’s work together to provide a new generation of leadership that will move Victoria – Beacon Hill forward and lift our province to new heights.
